A Fools’ Game

In morning I wake,
I no longer feel sad,
And for all heaven’s sake,
I only feel glad.

I remember all things,
That make me smile,
And I grow back my wings,
And fly for a while.

This feeling resides,
Causing such awful strife,
To my precious insides.

I cannot sleep,
I’m not tired either,
This strength I must keep,
Of life and death neither.

I can’t help but feel,
That this is a bit lame,
It’s all too real,
This damn fools’ game
