Halloween

Tonight’s the night the witches play,

And ghosts and pixies join the fray,

Today’s the day for spirit-calling,

On no other night will fate befalling,

Look at the moon, isn’t it eerie?

At this sight I get a little teary,

It must be fear, can’t be anything else,

The blood in my veins thicken, head pounding with pulse.

This is the day where ghouls roam free,

There on the streets for all to see,

When everyone else is safe in their bed,

My eyes remain open, a creepy blood-red.

Happy Halloween 🙂
